Guarantee applies to labor and services provided by Elephant & Castle, Parts are ordered from reputable suppliers and defects in manufacture are not covered.
If a service provided is faulty, I will correct the problem in a timely fashion and at no additional cost.
Damages from normal wear and/or abuse are not covered, and the determination of cause is at my sole discretion.
If you have a problem please contact me immediately. I reserve the right to inspect and decide whether your weapon is safe for modifications.
I will NOT deactivate ANY safety device for ANY reason.
Payment is due in full at the time of completion and must be received before the weapon leaves my shop. When your gun is finished, you will be notified to send a cashier’s check or money order for the amount due. A personal check will delay shipping approximately 2 weeks. If you pick up your gun in person then payment of cash or check will be acceptable.
You will be billed for actual shipping charges. All firearm PARTS may be sent through the US mail EXCEPT THE FRAME. Use UPS or FedEx for a handgun or frame. UPS regulations REQUIRE Next Day Air shipping - adult signature required. A handgun is considered to be the serial numbered frame. If you only need to send in the slide, you can use the regular ground service. Please send only the items necessary for performing the work!
There is a provision for using U.S. mail where shipping can be handled between FFL dealer to FFL dealer using registered mail which is much less expensive. You will need to download a form 1508.
Elephant & Castle is not an authorized warranty repair center for any firearm manufacturer. If your firearm is under warranty, return it to the manufacturer for covered repairs. Many of the services performed here may void the manufacturers warranty and should be given careful thought before requesting repairs or modifications from factory specifications. By requesting repairs and/or modifications you are acknowledging that you have read and agree with this policy as an informed consumer who reads these things.
Terms and Conditions For Purchase of New or Used Firearms:
We can NOT ship firearms anywhere other than other registered gun dealers. Federal law prohibits guns to be shipped directly to customers. If you order a gun from us, it will need to be shipped to a local gun dealer where you can then pick it up. Please remember to check with your local dealer to see if they charge transfer fees.
Customer will pay actual freight charges with insurance on all orders. We reserve the right to ship by UPS, FedEx, commercial truck or Parcel Post.
Customer is responsible for any return freight charges. All shipped items will be subject to a three (3) day inspection period. We will not accept returns on bullets, powders, primers, ammunition. Damaged or guns missing parts will also not be accepted for refunds or exchanges. We will not provide refunds on freight or handling charges. Some items may be subject to a 25% restocking charge.
