- Based on the earlier Remington percussion models, particularly the Model 1858, but modified for metallic cartridges
- Fluted 6 shot cylinder
- Most of finish is gone but overall very good shape on metal

- This model was intended to compete with the Colt Single Action Army in the civilian and law enforcement markets
