- Blade in great condition
- Ricasso has RZM logo with M7/42 over 1942 date
- Scabbard and hanger in great overall condition with what appears to be a L&S stamp on back of hanger
- Maker code M7/42 indicating manufacture by the firm of Weyersberg in Solingen
- The checkered Bakelite grip plates are intact, with no damage. The diamond-shaped Hitlerjugend organizational emblem in the grip has perfect enamel
- Nickel silver handles
- Originally used for dress sidearm but also used for a functional camping tool
