WKC Solingen Diplomatic Corps Official's Dagger

- Extremely rare dagger
- No dings, excellent condition
- Cross guard is high relief, detailed with eagle with spread wings holding a wreath with swastika in middle
- Eagle head faces opposite direction as Pommels eagle head (Normal for WKC)
- Mother of pearl grips (or celluloid) is in excellent shape with no chips (Yellowed from age)
- Pommel eagle head is very nice and high detail and relief
- Pommel securing nut with 2 holes is in great condition
- No scabbard
- The Diplomatic Corps was made up of officials (civil servants) of the Foreign Ministry
- These daggers were first introduced during Hitler's state visit to Italy in May of 1938 and only permitted to wear by diplomatic officials
- 10 1/8" nickel plated steel in excellent condition with some signs of use over years and has WKC Solingen logo on reverse ricasso
- A very rare and collectible dagger that would be an excellent addition to your WWII collection
