Winchester Model 1886 Rifle

- The .45-90 is a black powder rifle cartridge, originally developed by Sharps in 1877, designed for hunting and long-range target shooting. It's closely related to the .45-70 but uses a slightly longer case. Modern iterations, sometimes called .45-90 Express, utilize smokeless powder and are often used in Black Powder Cartridge Rifle competitions
